About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Szostak lab at The University of Chicago and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. I am fascinated by the processes and in particular chemical routes that could have lead to the earliest protocells and their subsequent evolution.
I was a PhD student in the Powner Lab at UCL and there I studied the origins of Life from a chemical perspective. We used organic chemistry to try to unravel the mystery of how life started.
